Ottawa Community Acupuncture is designed with an affordability-focus with treatments given in a peaceful, shared-space setting. Our fees use a household income payment system (with special offerings having their own pricing set-ups): $40 (less than $50K), $45 ($50-$100K), $50 ($100-$150K), $55 (greater than $150K), Ontario Works ($35) and ODSP ($30) both require documentation.

A community acupuncture enthusiast through and through, Rachel studied acupuncture in Victoria, B.C at Pacific Rim College.

Earning her license in 2016, Rachel began her practice in Toronto working at two community clinics - Toronto Community Acupuncture and Toronto Acupuncture Studio.

Her dream to open a clinic in a new city and help spread the community acupuncture movement more widely across Canada was sown early in her vision of practice. Rachel moved to Ottawa and opened OCA’s doors in May 2019. A community acupuncture room, with folks resting and healing peacefully together, is still one of her favourite places to be - even 12, 000 treatments later.
